Bhubaneswar: Revenue earnings of the Revenue & Disaster Management (R&DM) Department of the Odisha government registered an increase of Rs 2026.55 crore during 2020-2021 as compared to 2019-20, informed Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Pramila Mallick today.
In a written reply to a question from BJD Member from Bhograi Anant Das, Mallick told the House that the Revenue & Disaster Management Department generally collects revenue by way of land revenue, Stamp Duty and Registration fees, water cess and taxes on minor minerals.
She said that while the total revenue earnings of the department were Rs 2821.10 in the year 2019-20, it was Rs 4847.65 crore in 2020-2021.
This shows that there was a total increase of revenue by Rs 2026.55 crore, she added.
