Bhubaneswar: Another 16 persons suffering from Covid-19 in Odisha have succumbed to the disease, confirmed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Thursday.
Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19 after due completion of the death audit process are as under.
1. A 85 years old Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
2. A 51 years old Male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypothyroidism, Seizure disorder.
3. A 86 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
4. A 90 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Oral Cavity Cancer.
5. A 40 years old Female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Hypothyroidsim.
6. A 68 years old Male of Bolangir District who was also suffering from Chronic lymphocytic leukemia & post Coronary Artery Bypass Graft.
7. A 80 years old Male of Cuttack District.
8. A 48 years old Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease.
9. A 55 years old Male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
10. A 12 years old Boy of Dhenkanal District.
11. A 89 years old Male of Khordha District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.
12. A 67 years old Female of Khordha District who was also suffering from Hypothyroidsim, Chronic Kidney Disease & Hypertension.
13. A 81 years old Male of Khordha District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease & Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
14. A 81 years old Male of Khordha District.
15. A 18 years old Male of Keonjhar District who was also suffering from Pulmonary Tuberculosis.
16. A 55 years old Male of Keonjhar District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease.
The department further stated that this list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
