Bhubaneswar: Eight more persons suffering from Covid-19 in Odisha have succumbed to the disease, confirmed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Thursday.
Details of cases confirmed as death due to Covid-19 after due completion of the death audit process are as under.
1. A 80 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Cerebro Vascular Accident.
2. A 82 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Carcinoma in Lung with Metastasis.
3. A 64 years old Female of Keonjhar District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
4. A 45 years old Male of Koraput District who was also suffering from Bronchial Asthma.
5. A 45 years old Female of Rayagada District.
6. A 75 years old Male of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
7. A 38 years old Female of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypothyroidism, Rheumatic Heart Disease.
8. A 55 years old Female of Sundargarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension.
The department further stated that this list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19.
