Bhubaneswar: Efforts are underway to publish results of all streams of the annual Plus-II examinations on a single date, informed Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash here today.
“Earlier, results of Science stream used to be published first, then Commerce and then Arts. But this time a process is underway to publish results of all streams together,” said Dash after visiting Maharishi College of Natural Law here which is a Plus-II examination centre.
The Minister stated that he is hopeful of smooth conduct of the examinations and publication of results on time with cooperation from all concerned.
Plus –II annual examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha began in the State from today.
On the first day of the examination, most of the students have expressed that though they had initially felt nervous since they were appearing the examinations for the first time but since the questions were easy they have performed well.
“When I came to the examination centre I was very nervous. Since the questions were good I overcame the initial nervousness and have performed well. Those who are good students, they deserve the best, so the installation of CCTV at exam centres is a good measure. The arrangements at the centre are excellent,” said Pritiprava Mallick, an examinee at a Plus-II examination centre in the Capital city.
“For the first time, we are appearing in the second year Board exam. I am feeling quite nervous as well as happy since today’s paper was Odia which is my mother tongue,” said Chandrika Priyadarshi, another examinee.
“Initially I was nervous but after getting the question paper I could overcome my nervousness as the questions were easy. I have attempted all the questions,” said Ankita Moharana, an examinee.
