Bhubaneswar: To commemorate the first anniversary of the Mohan Charan Majhi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Odisha, the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department will bring out special editions of its flagship publications — Odisha Review and Utkal Prasanga.

The BJP government, which assumed office on June 12 last year, will complete its first year in power next month. As part of the celebrations, the I&PR Department announced via a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the special editions will highlight the government’s achievements, new schemes, and key initiatives launched over the past year.

“These special editions aim to showcase the progress and transformative steps taken by the new state government during its first year in office,” the department said in its post.

In an effort to involve the public and gather diverse perspectives, the department has also invited article contributions from interested individuals. Contributors can email their write-ups to uporipr@gmail.com for consideration.

The initiative aims to provide an inclusive platform for documenting the state’s journey under the new administration and offer readers’ insights into the governance and developmental milestones achieved so far.
