**Balasore:** In yet another fateful road accident, two persons killed while one sustained critical injuries after a speeding truck hit their motorcycle near Naharpatna under Sadar police limits here today.
As per reports, one person died on the spot. Meanwhile the other two were rushed to the Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) where one Pradipta Mohapatra (20) succumbed to his injuries in the hospital and Suresh Das is undergoing treatment.
On the other hand, irate locals staged a road blockade and are demanding compensation for the kin of the deceased.
The identity of the person who died on the spot is yet to be ascertained.
