Odisha’s First COVID-19 Patient Gets Discharged

Bhubaneswar: The first COVID-19 patient of the State is getting discharged after he tested negative for the virus. He was getting treated in the Capital Hospital.

Taking to Twitter, the Health and Family Welfare Department of Odisha shared the happy news.

Their tweet said, “The first COVID-19 positive case, belonging to Bhubaneswar who is being treated at Capital hospital has recovered and tested negative for COVID-19. He is being discharged.”

In the tweet, the team of medical professionals of the Capital Hospital was congratulated for their work in addition to making it clear that the number of positive cases in the State currently stands at three.
