Jajpur: In a bizarre incident, an irate mob publicly thrashed the sarpanch of Bodua gram panchayat under Bari block in Odisha’s Jajpur district. The video of the act has gone viral on social media.
According to reports, some youths attacked sarpanch Debi Prasad Mishra at Swainsahi Chhak in Kantia village of the district. Mishra alleged that the attack was a fall-out of an old political enmity.
Later, Mishra filed a written complaint at Binjharpur police station and the police registered a case based on it. The police are currently probing the matter.
