Bhubaneswar: Schools in Odisha, which were set to reopen on June 17, will be reopened only after am analysis of the situation in July. School and Mass Education Minister Samir Das clarified.
He said that with an increase in the number of cases in the State and the extension of the nation-wide lockdown the decision was taken. Notably, all schools and colleges across Odisha have been shut since March when the lockdown in Odisha was declared and followed by the nation-wide lockdown.
Das also said that the checking of online answer sheets of Plus Two will begin from tomorrow onwards, whereas the offline ones will be evaluated from June 8 onwards.
Additionally, the CHSE is preparing for the exams that had to be postponed due to the first phase of COVID-19 lockdown. The examinations will be held while strictly following the lockdown guidelines and the results will be subsequently published.
