Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles, Piyush Goyal announced this prestigious recognition during a felicitation ceremony on Tuesday, in New Delhi.
The 4th edition of the State Startup Ranking, organised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), aimed to fortify collaborative efforts among States and Union Territories (UTs) in nurturing dynamic startup ecosystems. Crafted as a robust and results-driven initiative, the State Startup Ranking Framework 2022 involved a meticulous assessment of responses across various parameters, utilizing 25 action points.
Odisha’s commitment to reducing regulations and fostering a supportive startup ecosystem has been consistently recognized. Having been honoured as the “Top Performer” in 2019 and 2021, Odisha’s triumph in 2022 reaffirms its progressive initiatives.
