**Deogarh:** A tutor was arrested on Thursday on the charge of raping five minor students in the past three months whom he was imparting private tuition at his home.
The incident has been reported from Talesara village under Kandheigola Police Station limits here in the district.
The accused has been identified as Rabindra Sahu.
The incident came to light when one of the parents complained the police about the horrendous act of the accused. Reportedly, the girls did not complain about the incident to their parents earlier as the teacher had threatened them with dire consequences if they revealed the matter to the police.
The police swung into action on Thursday and arrested Sahu.
