Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has congratulated the state’s Pencak Silat teams on their impressive performance at the 2nd Khelo India Beach Games 2026 in Diu. The Women’s Regu Team won a gold medal, while the Men’s Regu Team secured a bronze medal, filling Odisha with pride.
In his congratulatory message, CM Majhi praised the athletes’ dedication and discipline, highlighting Odisha’s growing sporting ecosystem. He wished the players continued success and greater achievements in the future.

Winning a remarkable four gold medals, including Rohit’s exceptional triple-gold achievement and Reshma’s gold in the mixed team event, they have brought great pride to #Odisha. The Khelo India Beach Games 2026 saw participation from over 1100 athletes across eight sports, providing a platform for young talents to shine. Odisha’s Pencak Silat teams have brought glory to the state, and their success is expected to inspire many more young athletes.
