Bhubaneswar: Odisha sizzled on Sunday with 11 stations recording temperatures above 40 degrees Celcius.
According to the information provided by the IMD, Sonepur was the highest at 42.3 degrees followed by Bolangir 42.2 degrees and Baripada & Titilagarh recording maximum temperature of 42.0 degrees Celcius.
Similarly, Jharsuguda (41.8), Sambalpur (41.7), Boudh (41.5) and Angul (40.9) were among the hottest places in the State on Sunday.
