**Bhubaneswar:** A shocking scene unfolded today afternoon as a student suffered critical injuries after being stabbed by another student with a knife in front of Nayagarh college here.
According to reports, an altercation ensued between two groups at Trinath square over past enmity following which one Papu Sahu stabbed Prakash Behera and fled the scene. Behera sustained critical injuries and was admitted to Nayagarh DHH and later shifted to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar when his condition worsened.
Police officials informed that a case has been filed regarding the incident and a student has been held for questioning. Following the incident, the cops have become more aware and are conducting stricter patrolling in the area, informed police sources.
