Bhubaneswar: The Odisha School and Mass Education Department congratulates students on their outstanding performance at the National Level Kala Utsav 2025.
Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kurunja, Kendrapara, secured 1st place in Folk Dance. St. Joseph’s Convent HSS, Sambalpur, Dharmasala Mahavidyalaya, Jajpur, and Town Govt High School, Balasore, secured 2nd place in various categories.
Patitapaban Higher Secondary School, Keonjhar, secured 3rd position in Vocal Music – Solo.
Kala Utsav has been held from December 20 to 23, bringing together over 1,000 students and escort teachers from all States and Union Territories, including KVS, NVS and Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS).
Organised under the visionary theme “Viksit Bharat – A Vision for Bharat in 2047”, the event provides a national platform for school students to showcase their exceptional talents through vocal and instrumental music, classical dance, theatre, 2D and 3D visual arts, local crafts and traditional storytelling, reinforcing the role of arts in holistic education as envisaged under NEP2020.
