**Sundergarh:** Sundergarh Collector Surendra Kumar Meena on Monday sat down to eat mid-day meal with the students of higher primary school in Amgobha village of Kutra block here.
During his visit, the bureaucrat went around several classrooms, interacted with the students and also took a class. He was accompanied by Sundergarh Sub-Collector, District Education Officer (DEO) Dhruba Charan Behera and Additional SP Rabinarayan Barik.
Reportedly, the Collector had come to inspect the quality of food being served to the students. It was a rare opportunity for the students to have a meal along with the District Collector.
The District Education Officer said that this will also send a message across other schools so that they will be careful while cooking food.
