Rourkela: Veteran BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday claimed that his party would win over 75 Assembly and 15 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha.
Asserting that Odisha would turn saffron after the election, Shah said while addressing a public meeting in Rourkela that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already won 270 Lok Sabha seats in the first four phases of elections in the country and is now moving towards 400.
“With more than 15 MPs and 75 MLAs, Odisha is about to be coloured saffron. This election is the election to make Narendra Modi the PM for the third time,” Shah said while addressing a rally at Rourkela.
Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are held simultaneously in Odisha which has 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly seats.
The top BJP leader also hit out at CM Naveen Patnaik over the missing of Ratna Bhandar Keys. Shah said that the state government is playing with the faith of crores of Jagannath devotees.
Claiming that Odisha is being run by some officers, Shah said that BJP would abolish the trend and restore Odisha’s pride.
The commission report on Ratna Bhandar will be made public after BJP is voted to power in Odisha, Shah said and demanded opening of all four gates of Puri Srimandir.
