Bhubaneswar: The State Higher Education Department has decided to conduct a common examination for admission into Post Graduate (PG) courses in colleges and universities across Odisha.
After chairing the 4th Vice Chancellor’s Conclave 2019 in Bhubaneswar today, Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo said students have to spend a lot on the applications for appearing entrance examinations of various colleges and universities.
In order to avoid this, they can now sit for a common PG examination and based on the merit list take admission into the colleges or universities of their choice.
It was further decided in the meeting that results of Plus-III examinations (Regular & Back) will be published by varsities before June 15 every year. The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellors of 11 varsities.
