Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Union Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs’ approval to establish eight new Kendriya Vidyalayas in Odisha.
In an official press release, the Chief Minister stated that under the Prime Minister’s leadership, the country’s education system is being significantly strengthened. The establishment of these new Kendriya Vidyalayas will enable more students in Odisha to access quality education, nurture their talents, and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, introduced under the Prime Minister’s guidance, has created ample opportunities for students to develop their potential.
He also extended his gratitude to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, acknowledging the minister’s dedicated efforts toward advancing education in Odisha. The Chief Minister noted that the Union Minister has been instrumental in implementing the NEP and ensuring the development of quality education in the state.
The eight new Kendriya Vidyalayas will be established in Kuchinda, Talcher, Athamallik, Kamakhyanagar, ITBP Khordha, Jeypore, Titlagarh, and Patnagarh.
