Bhubaneswar: The Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), will host the 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar from 24th to 27th February 2025 in Bhubaneswar.
This premier event aims to strengthen Odisha’s tourism sector by building strong partnerships and expanding its global presence. The Odisha Travel Bazaar will take place at two top venues: Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar.
The opening ceremony will feature key leaders from the tourism and travel industries, such as the Minister of Tourism and Culture of India, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat; Deputy Chief Minister, Pravati Parida; Director of the Department of Tourism, Samarth Verma; Co-Chairperson of the FICCI Tourism Committee & Lifetime Chairman, JK Mohanty; Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Tourism Department, Balwant Singh; MLA of Ekamra Babu Singh; Chief Secretary, Manoj Ahuja; and Senior Advisor of FICCI, Manab Majumdar.
A major attraction of the event will be the launch of the Explore Odisha Quiz – Challenge Yourself & Win competition.
The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is expected to see strong participation, with around 100 Domestic Tour Operators (DTOs) from over 30 cities across India, along with 30+ Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore.
The event will feature more than 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings between 70 tourism sellers from Odisha and both Domestic and Foreign Tour Operators. These meetings will encourage business partnerships and promote Odisha as a must-visit destination.
In addition, B2G meetings and adventure tourism workshops will form a key part of the program.
As part of the event, familiarization trips will be organized for participants to explore Odisha’s top tourism destinations, such as Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle.
