Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today called on people of the State to join him in a prayer for the COVID warriors who lost their lives in Odisha.
In a message, Naveen said, the COVID warriors have stood firm and protected the people of the State from the deadly disease. In the process, many of them have lost their lives.
“Remembering these COVID warriors who gave the supreme sacrifice for mankind in the line of duty, I will lead a silent prayer at 6 pm tomorrow (Wednesday),” said Naveen.
“I request you all, wherever you are to stand and silently pray for the COVID warriors for one minute.”
The Chief Minister will also read out an oath to encourage the COVID warriors who are working day in and day out to save the people of Odisha.
The oath by the Chief Minister will be broadcast for citizens over television and social media.
