Bhubaneswar: Odisha will showcase Jagannath culture, tribal jewellery and ornaments, cottage industry products, millet, ginger, turmeric, Koraput coffee, tourism, sports and industrialization to the world at its pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) to be held at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from November 19 to 27.
The decision was taken at a preparatory meeting chaired by Development Commissioner Anu Garg held on Tuesday at the Lok Seva Bhawan here.
It was also decided at the meeting to participate in the IITF’s food court and give a taste of Odisha’s exclusive delicacies to the world audience.
Principal Secretary Information & Public Relations Sanjay Kumar Singh gave the welcome address Director of I& PR Department Saroj Samal made a PowerPoint presentation on the issue.
Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Commissioners, Directors of Agriculture, Panchayati Raj, Tourism, Culture, Textiles, MSME, ST & SC, etc. departments and other senior officers of I& PR Department attended the meeting.
