Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar had received a total of 162 bodies of persons killed in the triple train tragedy of Bahanaga Bazar Station in Balasore district.
Briefing the media today, AIIMS Bhubaneswar Executive Director Dr Ashutosh Biswas told that out of the 162 bodies received, 80 have been handed over to their relatives.
Dr Biswas said that 82 bodies have been preserved and out of that 70 bodies have been preserved in four containers procured from Paradip Port.
He informed that DNA samples have been collected from 50 claimants and 29 DNA samples have been sent to Delhi.
