Odisha Train Tragedy: PM Modi To Visit Accident Site Today

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Odisha today to review the rescue and relief operations at the train accident site in Balasore’s Bahanga.

According to reports, Modi will first visit Bahanaga Bazar railway station where the heart-wrenching mishap which claimed at least 238 lives, and left more than 1000 injured, took place.

The PM will then proceed to Cuttack and meet the injured passengers at SCB Medical College and Hospital.

In the wake of one of the worst train in India’s rail history, PM Modi held a high-level meeting with top Railways and NDRF officials today morning, following which his trip was scheduled, reports added.
