Odisha Train Tragedy: Yeoman’s Job By NSS Volunteers Of Bahanaga College Bag Accolades

Bahanaga (Balasore): Students belonging to the National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of Bahanaga College are doing a yeoman service at the triple train crash site near Bahanaga Bazar station from helping in the rescue operation to serving water to the workmen engaged in the restoration work.

“We have been camping here since the very next of the accident. We had helped in rescuing the victims. We are now helping people who are engaged in the restoration work. They are working in searing heat under the scorching sun. We are offering them water, etc,” said Barsharani Giri, a volunteer of the NSS wing of Bahanaga College who is camping at the accident site.
