Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), is set to host the 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 from February 24 to 27.
This premier tourism event aims to position Odisha as a leading global travel destination by highlighting its cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and diverse tourism offerings.
Addressing a presser, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida underscored Odisha’s rich cultural heritage, serene beaches, eco-tourism, and adventure tourism attractions.
Meanwhile, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Tourism Department, Balwant Singh, provided insights into the government’s tourism policies, initiatives, and strategic vision aimed at accelerating the sector’s growth.
A key highlight of the event is the large-scale buyer-seller meet, bringing together national and international travel operators, destination management companies (DMCs), and tourism stakeholders from Odisha.
Hosted at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar, the event will allow participants to explore the state’s vast tourism potential and engage in meaningful business discussions.
The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 will actively promote the state as a premier tourism destination, both domestically and internationally. Odisha’s hidden gems are gaining increasing recognition, attracting travelers seeking authentic and immersive experiences. With its unique natural beauty and cultural richness, the state offers diverse attractions that continue to draw visitors year after year.
The primary objective of the event is to showcase Odisha’s tourism destinations to both national and international markets. By presenting a vibrant perspective of its tourism potential, the Odisha government is strategically positioning the state as a world-class, multi-faceted travel hub.
The event will witness participation from over 100 domestic tour operators representing 30 cities across India, along with more than 30 international tour operators from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, and Singapore.
A key focus of the program will be business-to-business (B2B) meetings, where 70 sellers from Odisha will interact with domestic and foreign tour operators. Additionally, participants will embark on familiarization tours to major tourist sites such as Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle.
Over 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings have been arranged, alongside business-to-government (B2G) meetings and adventure tourism workshops.
The Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is poised to be a landmark event, strengthening Odisha’s tourism sector and firmly establishing the state as a must-visit destination for travelers worldwide.
