**Boudh**: An under-trial prisoner (UTP) named Pramod Bhabasagar, who was accused in a rape case, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the UTP allegedly had a heart stroke in the jail. He was rushed to the nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
On the other hand, the family members have cried foul play in his death. They have alleged ill-treatment towards the prisoner to be the sole reason behind his untimely demise.
The deceased prisoner was in judicial custody since a week, and was facing rape charges.
