Odisha Vigilance Arrests ITDA’s Project Administrator In DA Case

Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths on Friday arrested Biswadarsi Sahoo, the Project Administrator of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), on charges of accumulating wealth beyond his known sources of income.

During searches, Sahoo was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 1 multi-storey building and two flats (Rs.1.50 Crore advanced to purchase one flat) at Bhubaneswar, nine high-value plots, gold weighing 150 grams, cash worth Rs.4.51 lakh and deposits exceeding Rs.61 lakhs.

As Sahoo failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for these assets, he was arrest.

Rourkela wing of Vigilance sleuths registered a case in this connection and will produce in court today.
