Bhubaneswar: Forest Wing of Odisha Vigilance in separate raids on two illegally operating sawmills seized valuable timber and saw mill accessories worth over Rs 21 lakh.
According to an official communiqué, raids were conducted on illegal sawmills operating at Kakagadia village under Niali police limits of Cuttack district and Olansa village under Charichhaka police limits of Puri district.
While over Rs 8 lakh worth of valuable timber and sawmill accessories were seized from Kakagadia, the seizure at Olansa village was worth over Rs 21 lakh.
