Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials raided the residence of Malkangiri Watershed Project Deputy Director and PD (Project Director) Shantu Mohapatra and recovered cast to the tune of Rs 1.5 crore on Wednesday morning,
Simultaneous vigilance raids are underway at 8 places, including the Mohapatra’s residence, to uncover disproportionate assets amassed by several officers of the Malkangiri Watershed Project.
Raids are also underway at the houses of Mohan Mandal, Bisan Mandal and Amiya Sahu, other employees of the Malkangiri Watershed Project.
The simultaneous house searches are being led by 2 Additional SPs, 4 DSPs, 10 Inspectors, 6 ASIs, and other supporting staff of Odisha Vigilance on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore, at seven locations in Malkangiri, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
