Bhubaneswar: Two cases of accepting bribes through PhonePe and one instance where a bribe was taken through an unnamed cheque were detected on Monday. In all three cases private persons helping government servants by taking bribe money in their PhonePe/bank accounts have been arrested/ prosecuted, the Odisha Vigilance said in a release on Tuesday.
Going forward #Odisha #Vigilance is committed to taking strong action against bribe-takers and their facilitators. Remember, you aren’t safe even while accepting bribes through PhonePe. “We will follow the digital footprints and come after you,” the Vigilance has warned.
