Malkangiri: People are known to cross leaps and bounds and fight the world to be with the one they love. When India is still coming to terms with the abolishment of Section 377, a woman decided to undergo the tedious process of a sex-change operation to marry the love of her life.
This beautiful story originates from interior Malkangiri.
The two women in question were in a relationship for close three years when they decided to get married. But one of them wanted to go for a sex-change and become a man before their dream wedding.
Sex change surgery, also known as gender reassignment, is a surgical procedure that changes a person’s sexual structure, in terms of both appearance and function, from that of a man to a woman. It comes at about Rs 7 lakhs in addition to other costs.
