Boudh: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly murdered his aunt after attempting to rape her in Kantamal area of Odisha’s Boudh district.
The deceased has been identified as Kabita Deep.
Reportedly, 22-year-old Vinod tried to rape Kabita late last night at around 2 am when she was fast asleep. When she resisted, he slit her throat with a sharp weapon and fled the spot. Kabita was rushed to Sonepur hospital, where she died while undergoing treatment.
On intimation, cops rushed to the spot and began probe into the incident.
