Bhubaneswar: The ‘Acche din’ (good days) of Odisha has arrived, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing the audience at the ‘Amruta Utsav’, 75th-anniversary function, of Odia daily ‘The Prajatantra’ at Indoor Stadium in Cuttack on Monday.
Justifying his statement, Shah said that the daughter of this soil Draupadi Murmu is now the President of India. Three Union Ministers namely Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Bisweshwar Tudu are from Odisha. The Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is also from Odisha.
“Odisha never got so much representation after Independence,” said Shah while adding that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Centre together with Odisha Government is making all efforts for the development of the State.
“PM Modi wants that the Union Government and State Government should move forward together as part of Team India. There is immeasurable potential for development in Odisha. I see a bright future of the State,” said Shah.
