In a written reply to a question by Rajanagar MLA Dhruba Charan Sahoo, Singh Deo highlighted that between the financial years 2021-22 and 2024-25, the state’s power sector has seen consistent growth, reflecting the rising demand from both industrial and domestic consumers.
The Minister also provided a detailed breakdown of industrial electricity consumption for 2024-25. Under the jurisdiction of the four major electricity distribution companies:
- TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) recorded consumption of 2,255.02345 Million Units (MU).
