Jharsuguda: Prodigious Dipti Sharma shattered records by becoming the youngest in India who can type English letters sequentially while being blindfolded the fastest at 3.54 seconds. With this feat, she made it to the India Book of Records.
The Class III student of Jharsuguda’s My Kidz School is now aiming to feature in the Guinness World Records. The world record is at 1.80 seconds.
While Dipti’s parents hail from Rajasthan, they are as of now based from Jharsugida.
Wishing to be a scientist when she grows up, Dipti said, “I feel very happy at my achievement and this would not have been possible without my parents and school teachers’ support.” The young prodigy revealed that she has been practising for last one and half year.
Beaming with pride Dipti’s mother, Jyoti said, “Her school Principal first introduced Dipti who was a pro at it from the word go. Her father too helped her out every day.” She added that her daughter is working hard and she is getting better with each passing day and as of now she is easily able to clock 2.90 seconds.
