Oil Tanker Driver Burns Alive After Collision With Truck In Odisha

Sonepur: In an appalling incident, the driver of an oil tanker burnt alive after it caught fire following a collision with a truck while the helper of the oil tanker was stated to be critical.

The shocking incident took place at Patrapali Chhak on Sonepur-Sambalpur road today.

Being informed, fire brigade personnel rushed to spot and doused the flames.

Vehicular movements on the main road stretch, linking Sambalpur and Sonepur, got disrupted due to the mishap.

The identity of the deceased driver was unknown till the filing of the story.

The critically injured helper of the oil tanker had been admitted to the Ulunda hospital in Subarnapur (Sonepur) district, as per the preliminary reports.
