Bhubaneswar: Badagada police arrested Ollywood actor Partha Sarathi Ray on charges of violating court rules. He was produced in court on Thursday after his arrest.

According to sources, Sarathi had violated court rules in a case, leading to the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court issuing a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him. The court directed the police to arrest him, and accordingly, he was taken into custody. The warrant was issued due to his alleged violation of court rules in a previously ongoing bail bond case.

The court had directed the police to arrest him after he failed to comply with court norms. Subsequently, the Badagada police took him into custody and produced him in court, said sources.

Notably, Ray is a well-known actor in the Odia film industry, having appeared in various movies and serials. Some of his notable works in movies include Phalguna Chaitra, Dalchini, Trikanya, Charitra, Dear Puriush, and more.
