Puri: Mortal remains of popular Ollywood actor Pintu Nanda were consigned to flames at Swarga Dwar here today.
The deceased actor’s elder son Sai Nanda lit the funeral pyre. Near and dear ones of the actor, various artists’ associations and cultural organisations of Puri gathered at Swarga Dwar to pay their last respects.
The actor died at 11.30 PM on Wednesday at Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad.
He was suffering from acute chronic liver failure and was advised to undergo liver transplantation.
