Bhubaneswar: Renowned Ollywood playback singer Humane Sagar who was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on Friday, has been placed on ventilator support due to his deteriorating health.
According to the AIIMS bulletin, Sagar’s condition remains unstable, and he’s receiving life-saving treatment. A team of senior intensivists and specialists is closely monitoring his condition.
However, the hospital authorities have assured that every possible measure is being taken to stabilize his vitals and support organ function.
Sagar has been battling multiple health issues, including kidney failure, liver complications, and pneumonia.
He was initially undergoing treatment at Ashwini Hospital in Cuttack before being referred to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on Friday.
Sagar, known for winning the second season of ‘Voice of Odisha’ in 2012, has been a prominent figure in the Odia music scene.
Notably, Sagar’s big break came with the title track of the 2015 film ‘Ishq Tu Hi Tu’, composed by Abhijit Majumdar. This marked the start of a successful journey, with him going on to sing numerous songs for Odia films and music albums, cementing his position as a prominent figure in the Odia music scene.
