Cuttack: Ollywood singer Sourin Bhatt, who is accused of sexual harassment by a woman in the city, today appeared before the Mahila police station here and recorded his statement on the matter.
Bhatt has been granted interim protection by the High Court and was directed by the court to cooperate with the police in the investigation against him.
Accordingly, Bhatt appeared before the Mahila police and recorded his statement.
He refused to make any statement before reporters by claiming that the matter is sub-judice.
“He has been given interim protection by the High Court. In accordance with the High Court’s direction to cooperate in the case, he came today, and we have interrogated him. His preliminary interrogation is over. We will also get his medical examination done and then we will submit the case diary to the High Court,” said ACP Amitav Mohapatra to reporters.
