**Cuttack: ** Popular Ollywood film star Amlan Das has been badly injured after he met with an accident late last night at Cuttack.
The accident occurred near Markatnagar police station when a car in which Amlan and his friend were travelling collided with another car. Amlan and two others have been admitted to the hospital in Cuttack.
Mihir das, father of Amlan and veteran actor of Ollywood said, “He is all right and there is only an injury on his head. I don’t know what exactly happened there but what information I have got is that there was a collision between two cars because of pigs. The driver has been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack and Amlan is admitted here”.
According to an associate of Amlan, “As per the Police, the collision happened when they were returning from a shooting. When the car over turned local police came and rescued them. Amlan and his friend were in one car while in another car there was only the driver. Amlan was admitted in a private hospital whereas two others were at SCB Medical College and Hospital.”
