Sambalpur: The police here on Tuesday arrested one person in connection with the broad daylight loot of a local businessman here around 10 days back. The accused is a native of Aska, and had parked the loot amounting to Rs 11 lakh. The robber duo, however, are still on the run. SP Battula Gangadhar said a special team has been dispatched to nab the absconding accused.
Total Rs 9 lakh has been recovered from the arrestee, he added. The accused has been identified as Lilly (45) of Pakalpali village under Aska police limits. The robbery was carried out by the infamous Erugela gang, the police added. The businessman was looted just after he came out of the ATM with cash.
