Bhubaneswar: One person died and seven others sustained injuries when a Bolero carrying passengers collided head-on with a truck on National Highway 57 near Khajuripada in Boudh district, on Friday.
According to reports, the deceased was one of the passengers in the Bolero, while the seven injured were rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The passengers were returning from Puri after having darshan at the Jagannath Temple, and were on their way back to Bargarh when the mishap took place.
Meanwhile, Boudh police have launched an investigation examining the circumstances surrounding the collision.
