Bhubaneswar: One person has died while around 50 persons have been injured in separate road accidents across the State.
The collision between a truck and auto-rickshaw on National Highway 16 near Nalanga petrol pump in Bhadrak district claimed the life of one person while four were injured.
Over 25 persons were injured after the bus they were travelling in was hit by a JCB machine at Ostapur in Kendrapara district.
All the injured persons were admitted to Kendrapara hospital. Persons with minor injuries were discharged after preliminary treatment.
Similarly, last night, over 16 persons were injured after a van lost control and overturned after ramming into a tree near Bhutapankal in Ganjam district.
