Koraput: A school bus carrying 23 teachers and other employees met with an accident near Mantri Amba Ghati under Baipariguda police limits in Koraput district killing the school principal’s wife on the spot and injuring eight employees on Tuesday.
According to sources, the accident took place when the teachers and employees of Immanuel School were going to pay tribute to the dead peon of the school.
The deceased has been identified as school principal’s wife Nilima Panda. Failure of brakes is said to be the reason behind the accident.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Baipariguda Community Health Centre.
