Balasore: Police on Monday arrested a Bihar-based youth near Bidu square in Balasore district for his alleged involvement in the illegal arms trade.
Reportedly, the youth identified as Lokesh Singh of Vaishali district in Bihar was waiting for a customer to sell a pistol and four live ammunition.
Based on reliable input, Soro Police conducted a raid and nabbed Singh. Investigation revealed that he used to source arms from Munger in Bihar.
Various cases of theft and robbery have been registered against him at different police stations in Bhadrak and Balasore districts.
