Bhubaneswar: One passenger was killed, while 20 others sustained critical injuries after a private bus overturned after hitting an electric pole near Podagada village under the Koraput Sadar Police limits on Tuesday late night.
The accident occurred while the ‘Khambeswari’ bus was on its way from Malkangiri to Berhampur. Police with the help of locals undertook the rescue operation and admitted the injured to Podagada Community Health Center (CHH).
While the police have started a probe into the accident, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
