Bhubaneswar: One person died and four others sustained injuries when a truck hit a car and fell off Kuakhai Bridge near Trishulia Cuttack district late Tuesday night.
All the injured persons including the car and truck drivers were admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital. Their condition is stated to be critical.
According to sources, the accident occurred when serial artistes were returning to Bhubaneswar in a car after the shooting. The truck hit the car coming from the opposite direction and fell off the bridge after losing its balance.
Upon being informed, Barang fire brigade officials and police recovered the body of the deceased and sent it for post-mortem.
