Dhenkanal: In yet another incident of man-animal conflict, a 48-year-old person was crushed to death in an elephant attack in Mangalpur village under Kantabania police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Sunday morning.
The victim has been identified as Ranji Rout.
According to reports, the elephant attacked Ranjit this morning while he was going to his farm. The villagers and the Forest Department personnel reached the spot and rushed the victim’s body to a nearby medical center where the doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
