Dhenkanal: One person was killed in an elephant attack on Monday in Rasol village under Hindol forest range in Dhenkanal district.
The deceased has been identified as Panchanan Behera of Mundia Sahi of Rasol village.
According to reports, Panchanan had gone to his paddy field when he was attacked by an elephant. He died on the spot.
On being informed, Forest department staff reached the spot and recovered the body.
